NW Haiti Facts & Map

  • Most live each day in survival mode
  • Very remote; most roads are like creek beds
  • Most walk a mile for drinking water each day
  • No plumbing and no electricity
  • Majority live in huts with grass roofs and dirt floors
  • Very little cash flow; mostly bartering to survive
  • Illiteracy rate is over 50%
  • They are so hungry for God's Truth and love that most are willing to walk a great distance to hear His Word.
