Compassion

God has used my mom's passing to help me look at life and death differently than I had before.  In my quiet times, God has spoken to me very plainly about how thankful I should be to have had a godly mom who taught me about Jesus.  I am thankful that she is in heaven, and one day I will see her again.  He continued to speak to me about how I need to encourage others to ask for the compassion that Jesus had for the lost when He was on this earth.  Everyday we should be ready to tell others the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We should have a compassion for those that have not had a family to tell them about Jesus.  We need to make sure they have an opportunity to hear.  Make an effort to share Jesus with someone.  You and I had the opportunity; shouldn't others?  Who will not go to heaven because you or I did not tell them?  Think about it:  this life is short compared to eternity.  Scripture says to ask and it will be given you.  Ask for compassion for the lost and see what God does through you.

Blessings,
Carolyn
