Beginning year 2015

January 13, 2015
We will be flying out the 15th of January heading back to Haiti.  We now have our resident visa so have a one way ticket this time.  Not sure when we will return to the states but will keep everyone posted.
Last summer the pastors worked together and did 21 VBS' with 2100 children attending and 290 salvations.
In February we will be showing evangelistic films, going out in the truck to remote areas.  The pastors will be coordinating the events, we will just show up and help.  We are also equipping the pastors to set up a booth in the market place to give out a cup of water and share the gospel, a great opportunity to reach many for Christ.
The ladies will be going out and showing the love of Christ.
We are equipping a couple young men and ladies to go into the schools with sexual purity till marriage and the gospel.
We have a sewing school at a local church/school in the afternoons.

We are in great anticipation for 2015 knowing God is up to something big and willing to use us as we equip the pastors and they respond in obedience to God's calling of evangelism and discipleship.
One of the pastors recently started a pastors group in his area, asking us to come help them too.

Stay tuned.........................................

year ending 2014

Jan 13, 2015
2014 finished hard.  With Carolyn's dad passing away in November just we were returning the states for the holidays then Terry's mom having a stroke right after Christmas, it made the holidays a little tougher.  But God is good, we were thankful to be here and also thankful to spend some time with the rest of our family.
In Haiti 2014 was an amazing year, as we started a new season in our lives there.  We no longer work with just one pastor but many pastors.  Each Friday Terry meets with the pastors, each Monday Carolyn meets with the wives, each Wednesday we have a group of children.  We have rented a house, with some indoor plumbing (praise the Lord).  A big house and a big yard.  We have a library in the house for pastors to come and study.  God made a way for us to purchase a truck.  As we work with the pastors and wives, building unity, we believe it will diminish the presence of voodoo there.  As of December 2014 we average 25 to 30 pastors each Friday and the unity is building.
