Building our house on top of the school building.  It will be small, but big enough. It still needs a roof, and we hope to have a team come this fall to help put on the two roofs which will cost around $5000.

Picture Update (4) July 2013

Brother Edlin is a new convert whom Pastor Jespert led to the Lord about a year ago at one of the house churches.  He is on fire for Jesus, and is now being discipled to be a leader in the church.  His motorcycle ministry has helped many people.  He is need of finances to pay off his motorcycle.

Brother Gaby teaches soccer to young boys, and then tells them about Jesus using the salvation colors soccer balls.  He goes through many soccer balls, and always needs more to play with.

Some of the church people with Katie Wassom, a young lady from Smithton, MO, who came with us March - June.

These are the covers for the Jesus film for adults and children.  Once we get our Honda big red and generator, we will be showing them and other films in remote area.  These films are a great tool to share the Gospel.

Picture Update (2) June 2013

Brother Guenson, age 21, fell and injured his hip several months ago.  He is in a lot of pain and cannot walk without a lot of help from the crutches.  He needs treatments to help with the proper healing

Nerlande had a bad skin infection, and could not walk.  We were able to help her; she is well now and can walk.  After we helped her, she came to us after finding Wolanda, who was burned badly.

Three yr old Wolanda was burned badly, and stayed in the local clinic 9 weeks.  We were able to help her, and she survived.  I believe God has some great plans for her.

After handing out new testaments, these young men raised their hands and said they would like to be a pastor one day.

Eleven year old Lovely was hit by a young boy with a machete because he wanted her food.  She had to have stitches on her arm and head.  We were also able to minister to her family.  Her mom came to Jesus and out of voodoo.

This is Nerlande's brother.  He broke his arm when he fell. We were able to help him so his arm could heal correctly, and show God's love to him as well.

Being His Hands and Feet

I went for a walk the other morning to Wolanda's house (a little girl, three years old, who was burned badly).  She was in a clinic in our village for nine weeks.  As I got close to her house, she saw me and started laughing and jumping up and down.  She ran to me, took my hand, and hugged me.  She couldn't wait to sit her naked body on my lap.  As tears came to my eyes, God reminded me in such a precious way that He loves all the children of the world:  red and yellow black and white, they are precious in His sight.  He also reminded me that when we help and show love to one of these precious ones, we are helping HIM BY BEING HIS HANDS AND FEET.
